It's so easy to fool libertarians

Pete at Drug War Rant found something simultaneously humorous and frightening. Really.

On the blog "The Anti-Communist," 22 year old Maxwell Hoffman spends quite a bit of time criticizing George Soros for working to end the War on Drugs.

Among countless ridiculous claims, there is this one:
There is a clear case that Soros is attempting to influence Libertarian groups into going against the drug war America is waging. [emphasis added]
Yep, Soros and the rest of us reformers really had to swindle those libertarians into fighting against the Drug War. It's a good thing they're so gullible...

Actually this Libertarian [ran for office once] believes that Soros is too easy on the scam artists running prohibition. Instead of declaring the hoax a hoax he is giving the Drug Czar a free ride on the total lack of scientific evidence and attacking the war on the margins. But then again maybe Soros doesn't have the money to counter decades of lies. He is going against the five or six media owners who own 99% of the media outlets and who spread the dangerous drugs mythology as if it were handed down from on high.
