Everything I learned about drugs...

...came from Pee-Wee Herman.

How does someone do studies to verify this? Where do you get crack cocaine and how do you determine the dose and potency? More importantly, would crack cocaine be that readily available and "cool" if it wasn't handled by criminals motivated by exorbitant profit margins and low risk [the little guys take the fall, the big guys make big dough]?

Now we get to the bigger question: how dangerous would crack nicotine be if it were criminalized? What about crushed pills of various other sorts of drugs? Are we going to pass laws banning use of a product based on selective people deliberately misusing the same product? And if we do so, where do we draw the line? What about cars modified for drag racing? If someone modifies a Chevy, Ford, or Toyota so that the car is unsafe do we criminalize use of all Chevys, Fords and Toyotas.
The bottom line is that we currently have NO standards for drugs. We have standards for users and those standards are directed against low income people of color and young people of antiauthoritarian conformity.

Was this his community service after he got caught peeling some chilis in an adult movie theatre?
